Alaskan Vacation Itinerary

Alaska According to Plan

It is important to take along your email and written confirmations and to reconfirm all reservations prior to setting out on your first time Alaska trip. I always print my boarding passes the day before we leave and have someone at home (if I will not have computer access) print out the return flight's boarding passes for me. Also, be sure to book your actual seat assignments when you book your flights so you can sit together! I booked the sightseeing months in advance during a time when the Nenana Rafting company was closed (for example) and I needed to contact them (in May) to tell them the exact day and time we would be using their service. Read all of the material you receive very carefully as unpleasant surprises can ruin an otherwise perfect vacation. Our motor home company did not take checks and having a MC or VISA card to pick up the coach was a requirement. Be prepared to be a little flexible - things happen when you leave home that you cannot control so HAVE FUN - everything goes better with a great attitude even RAIN!
